Couple - Relationship App for Two App Reviews

I never usually write reviews but this one is very deserving. We downloaded this app about 3 years ago when we met in Chicago. (He is English and me, American). This app was unbelievably helpful and made the distance tolerable...it felt so personal to have an app designated just for your SO. The extra features like drawing and thumb kiss are just phenomenal. However, we havent needed to use the app much lately because (happy ending) we ended up getting married last year and I now live with him in Scotland. :) thank you for a fantastic app!

Cool app. Just needs to be massively updated.

This is the most amazing app on all of my devices! My wife and I use this at least 20-30 times per day. The range of emojis are awesome. I also love that I can get the texts on my Apple Watch (though really hoping you add some emoji options for the watch). Hands down, one of the best apps ever created!

My hubby and I have had this app for a few months now and we both really like it! And for totally different reasons. I love that there are so many different ways to communicate through the app. Also, the ability to create non-paper "lists" together that we can both see and access at any time is a great feature. Especially when you have kids and its around Christmastime. I also love that I can send him whatever picture messages I want, in private! ;) They arent in the same app as my iMessages, which are in plain view. Its great! My husband loves that he has a totally separate app for me to communicate with him through. Since he uses his phone 24/7 for work; if I text him, sometimes hes not able to get to it for a while or doesnt know that I am one of the 20 people texting him. It sometimes makes it hard to get ahold of him and he was sometimes missing my communication to him about our kids or activities or events, whatever it may be. It was upsetting for him. Hes the best husband and father and wouldnt miss anything for our family by choice. Now, thanks to the couples app!, he has a completely separate app, that if he sees an alert on it, he knows its me! He knows it is either something important to know about the family or I can quickly grab his attention and sneak in a quick flirt throughout the day! For him its a physical and mental way to separate work life from personal. He has tried using a different tone for my alerts with regular iMessaging, but that doesnt exactly work because hes a top executive who is constantly in back to back meetings... Meaning, his phone is usually on silent. The results have been great! Our communication is so much easier, faster and more private. Anyway, this app has really been great for us! Its a good way to get that separation and privacy couples need. The only thing I would add to this app is, incorporating the "touch ID passcode". Not a necessity, just a bonus.

My girlfriend and I use this app religiously. Its practically flawless. I have had a notification icon for about three months now that wont go away inside the app and it wont show why its there, just that its there. But, for the main purposes of the app, its pretty perfect.

I love the app but Id love it even more if it had a counter like on the "been together" app and then we could see how long weve been together and it would just be a nice update (just a suggestion)

I have had this app for about two years now, and I have only seen two updates on it. Nothings really changed, but the app is great. I would really love to see less stickers and more back end improvements. The app has become very laggy for me and when I use it I have to put up with it, its unfortunate. When I go to type stuff in, it just takes seconds for it to show up and when my partner sends texts it takes awhile to send sometimes. Ive deleted the app and reinstalled a number of times on different devices. So I wonder if this happens to other people as well. A few things I would love to see are, end to end encryption, Im not sure if this is already put in place, but from the responses Ive seen on the ask questions page, I dont think it is. It would be amazing to see that, thats the reason I love iMessage, I know some other apps are jumping on the band wagon now, but it would be comforting and nice to see. Especially for a couples app! Another great feature would be an actual calendar. I dont understand how this one hasnt been updated yet. If there was a better calendar, I would use it over my phones any day. I would love to see it sync up with my partners iCloud and email calendars and mine as well. An update on notes would be great! Maybe a little more functionality like iOS notes that we can both edit. For some reason this app drains my battery, and I have location, background app refresh, and everything else turned off, only notifications are on. So some tweaks would be a life saver! Also, a watch os version? Maybe to send drawings or "thinking of you" texts, it would be really nice. Over all though, Im pleased with this app and use it everyday, even though I never expect an update to happen, Ill continue to use it. I really hope there are some cool things happening in the background that we will see soon! I recommend getting this, its nice to have a place where nothing else matters but your partner.

My boyfriend and I both really adore this app! Hes in the Air Force so hes not even in the same state as me right now and when my friend in the same situation introduced it to me we had to try it! Every night we use the "thumb kiss" and its so great being able to feel like were having some sort of contact! We also made a listed all of the things we want to do when he comes home!

I love using Couple, its not buggy, the features on the message side are really cute but theres little reason to use it over FB messenger, especially since you have to pay for the sticker packages. The calendar needs improvement (calendar overview would be nice) Ive used it about a month now and I really like it and Im looking forward to improvements

Got this and another similar app. But the list feature and thumb kiss kinda sealed this as our app of choice. Love all the features. The biggest being there is never a chance of putting an inappropriate message in the wrong thread using a regular chat app. The sketch feature is great. The list feature is something I use to add things to do when me meet in person. I would love to have a backup to cloud feature so we dont lose everything in case the phone dies. Overall a great app and one I would pay for if it went that way.
